Yes. Tented hangars provide a clear, column-free interior space, ideal for warehousing, sorting, and loading and unloading.
Can separate zones be created for receiving, storage, and shipping?
Of course. The space can be easily zoned using gates, partitions, racking systems, and road markings. Clearly organized workflows are possible: receiving → sorting → packing → shipping.
What warehouse equipment can be used inside the hangar?
Forklifts, reach trucks, stackers, and other equipment are all readily available inside. For heavy loads, the floor is reinforced with a concrete slab or reinforced screed, ensuring stability even under heavy traffic.
Is a solid foundation required?
No. The hangar is installed on a prepared base: compacted soil, crushed stone, road slabs, or concrete pavements. This speeds up commissioning of the facility and allows for the structure to be dismantled or relocated if necessary.
How quickly can a tent logistics center be built?
Installation takes 3 to 6 weeks, depending on the size and configuration. The structure is delivered in prefabricated components and assembled on-site, which is significantly faster than traditional construction.
What is the service life of a tent hangar?
The galvanized steel frame and 650–900 g/m² PVC awning are designed for 15–20 years of use. The structure withstands standard snow and wind loads and requires no major repairs throughout its service life.
Can this logistics center be used year-round?
Yes. If necessary, the hangar can be insulated using 10 mm thick foil insulation or 100 mm thick Hollow Fiber insulation between the awning layers. Combined with the ventilation system, a stable microclimate is maintained even in cold weather.
