Is a tent hangar suitable for year-round poultry keeping?
Yes. Tent hangars can be used year-round. They are insulated for this purpose. Combined with properly designed ventilation, this ensures a stable and comfortable microclimate for the birds, even in freezing temperatures.
What types of birds can be raised in such a hangar?
Hangars are suitable for all major types of poultry: broilers, layers, turkeys, ducks, and quail. The interior can be easily divided into age groups and equipped with automated feeding, watering, lighting, and heating systems.
Can a hangar be installed on an existing site?
Yes. The structure can be installed on virtually any level surface: compacted soil, crushed stone, concrete slabs, or asphalt. A solid foundation is not required, which speeds up installation and makes the hangar mobile: it can be dismantled and relocated
How long does construction take?
Installation takes 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the size and equipment. The hangar is delivered prefabricated and assembled on-site. Once completed, the poultry house can be put into operation immediately.
How is ventilation provided?
The tent hangars are equipped with an efficient supply and exhaust system, supplemented by mechanical fans if necessary. This maintains optimal humidity, removes ammonia, and prevents stress in the birds.
What gates and access points can be installed?
Sliding, swing, or sectional gates up to 5 m high and up to 7 m wide are installed for equipment access. Separate service doors and access openings are also provided for convenient bird exit and equipment maintenance.
What is the service life of a tent poultry farm?
The galvanized steel frame is corrosion-resistant, and the tent is made of durable 650 g/m² PVC fabric (900 g/m² available upon request). If operating conditions are met, the hangar will last 15–20 years and does not require complex maintenance.
