Yes. These barns are suitable for both stall and combined housing. They allow for flexible placement of partitions, feeders, waterers, a manure removal system, and lighting. The absence of internal supports allows for flexible zoning.
Is a tent barn suitable for winter cattle housing?
Yes – with insulation. For year-round use, 10 mm foil insulation or 100 mm Hollow Fiber insulation is used between the tent layers. Combined with effective ventilation, this creates a stable microclimate even in cold weather.
Will it be too humid or stuffy inside?
No. The design includes supply and exhaust ventilation, side and end openings. The PVC tent is moisture-resistant, prevents condensation, and reflects solar heat, maintaining a comfortable environment all year round.
Can milking equipment be installed?
Yes. The interior accommodates milking units, feed and water lines, milk cooling systems, and other farm equipment. The open floor plan allows the space to be adapted to any process.
Does a barn require a foundation?
Generally, no. The barn is built on compacted soil, crushed stone, concrete, or road slabs. If necessary, it can be installed on piles, which speeds up installation and simplifies dismantling during relocation.
What are the suitable dimensions for cattle housing?
For small farms, the dimensions are from 12x30 m to 15x40 m. For large complexes, the dimensions are from 20x60 m and above. The height of the side walls ranges from 2 to 4 m, depending on the herd size and process requirements.
How long does it take to build a barn, and is a turnkey project available?
Manufacturing and installation take approximately 4 weeks. Prefabricated elements are delivered, and assembly is carried out on the prepared foundation. The turnkey service includes design, delivery, and assembly.

The galvanized steel frame is designed to withstand snow and wind loads. The tent is made of 650 g/m² (optional 900 g/m²) PVC fabric and is flame-retardant. The service life is 15 years or more with proper maintenance.
How easy is it to clean and disinfect the cow shed?
Very easy. The smooth surface of the tent and the absence of hard-to-reach areas make cleaning easy. Manure removal can be done manually or with a machine. The space is easily disinfected without leaving any residual contamination.
